Gardening Afternoon

Come and help us build a community garden at The White House.
We’ll be opening up the garden between 1-4pm on Saturday 6th April, there will be lots of different ways to get involved from planting (herbs, flowers, veg), building planters, laying soil and turf, helping build a greenhouse, varnishing our new fence and populating our pond with new plants. Come along and lend a hand!

Across 2019 we will be establishing ‘Friends of Beacon Garden’, a group dedicated to caring for and developing a new community garden at The White House. If you’d like to be involved, learn a new skill or simply meet your neighbours.

No experience necessary. Children over 10 are welcome accompanied by a guardian.

This activity is part of the artists They Are Here residency and commission to realise a community garden in Dagenham at The White House.

You're welcome to just drop in but it would be helpful to email whitehouse@createlondon.org to let us know you will be coming along.
