March ish

Starter: magnolia petals (taste light and gingery, great to pickle)

Main: seaweed salad of sea lettuce and sugar kelp

Look out for all the coastal sea vegetables, they have a long season, and because they are mainly succulent and contain sea water they are already seasoned to perfection, yo just need to throw them into simmering water for a minute or 3 to take the saline edge off and re-hydrate them. They need nothing adding, but I still add butter or some oil, because I can’t help it.
