Mosaic workshop at The White House Dagenham

As part of the Get Creative series of public workshops funded by Creative Barking & Dagenham, these sessions are open to anyone over the age of 12 years, and are suitable for beginners. There is no charge to come along.

Participants will learn mosaic technique and then be working on a piece that will part of several separate pieces of the public artwork. Whilst attending the sessions participants will learn mosaic skills from beginners level up to intermediate level. During each session the tutor will give tips, advice and teach skills that will enable you to have all the techniques and confidence to carry on with this great fun craft at home.

The workshops will enable local people to be part of a potential artwork that will be permanently installed in Dagenham. The artwork will include references to borough history, places etc with a focus on the Dagenham Village area.

There will be an opportunity towards the end of the course if you wish, to talk through with tutor any ideas or plans to do a mosaic project at home. There are limited spaces for the sessions so booking is advisable. Please book your space by contacting susannaartproject@gmail.com
